What Style Of Music Do You Listen To The Most?

If you've been around Clear Creek for any length of time you know that we utilize a variety of different styles of music in our corporate times of worship.  We want to reach as many people as possible and we also like to stretch people in how they use music to engage with God.  I will probably take another post to talk more about worshiping God with different styles of music - but in this one - I want to hear from you.

What style of music do you listen to the most?  Please take part in the poll below.  You can pick only one, and don't pick Christian unless it REALLY is what you listen to the most - no brownie points handed out here!  If there are two selections that you think are equal then flip a coin and make your selection.  If you don't see your style there...well...then your out of luck this time.  The poll will close Friday evening, February 26th at midnight.

Thanks for your participation!

  1. Really miss the old Mercy Me, Natalie Grand, Newsboys, Toby Mac, etc stuff. It seems like we don't do much of that anymore. Love the Duane pop song in the middle. And we really need a closing song after the sermon. If people get up right after the sermon, shoot them - in a Christian, loving way, of course!

  3. I love to hear old, traditional hymns done in the old, traditional way - once in a while, not all the time! More of an unplugged, meditative style.

Would also love to have the grand piano back. And the choir.

  4. I agree with earlier post...need a song at the end...or music as we exit. Seems so cold just to say..."see ya." We should be leaving with celebration in our hearts and ears.

  6. I definitely agree, with having a song at the end of the service. I've always loved the music at The Gathering and love when we have it on Sunday. I think Country & Blue Grass is great on occassion. I like the way the old hymns are done in a upbeat style. The music at CCCC is awesome!
